Artificial intelligence refers to the development of computer systems that mimic a human brain and enable them to perform tasks that usually requires human intelligence. The AI branch has opportunities in the current domains such as Banking, Medical, Robotics, Analytics, Security, Mechanics, Aerospace, Online Education and many more. AI branch is introduced at the Usha Mittal Institute of Technology (UMIT) during the Academic Year 2023-2024. The syllabus of AI is based on the current and forthcoming requirements of the Business and Human needs. The syllabus of AI is designed by Academics Expert and Industry Experts to fulfil the demand of industries and students. High performance computing laboratory and the Internet of Things laboratory useful for training to students in the AI discipline is under the development stage. Students will be able to utilize facilities developed in this laboratory. MATLAB software is procured by the college and students will be able to undergo significant training using various modules made available by Mathswork for the AI discipline. IEEE Students Library provides training to students to understand various developments in AI. The work of the development of the Digital Library is also initiated by the college.
