Council and Committees

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) founded in 1947, based in New York, USA, is the oldest body of computer professionals in the world. The Computer Science, Engineering and Management students of SNDT Women’s University are part of the chapter since 1999. The SNDT-ACM Chapter is the first ACM Students Chapter in Mumbai. It aims to develop leadership qualities and management skills in addition to enhancing technical competence in the members. It has been the endeavour of the Chapter to bring innovation in its functioning so that it can reach out to broader spectrum of students and keep the chapter active. The Chapter has given numerous student members opportunities to express themselves in diverse ways. The Chapter has successfully completed 21 years in February,2020.
