UMIT provides the students with the best possible opportunities to strike the right balance between academics and extra-curricular activities through its state-of-the-art and well-defined curriculum, its thrust on learner-centric pedagogy and focus on hands-on use of technology with the right exposure to technical and non-technical activities with its students lead committees that provide students with the much-needed leash of energy and skills which helps them leverage their innate passion and understanding of engineering.

The curriculum and pedagogy of UMIT focus on mastery of applied knowledge, critical thinking, research and a global perspective for achieving unfettered alignment with the requirement of the industry across the globe and across sectors. This is one reason why UMIT excels in providing internship and placement opportunities to our students. Be it core technical or allied IT sectors - from finance to hospitality to entertainment our students have made a mark for themselves.  There is no replacement for good grades as a seamless academic performance with the right mixture of soft and hard skills will definitely fetch a student the coveted dream job with a dream organisation.
