Introduction
Induction programme is Introduced from the academic year 2018 for new entrants to UG programmes as per the guidelines of the AICTE with the following objectives. Normal classes start only after the induction program is over.
Objectives:

To help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment

Inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution,

Help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration.

To educate the new entrants about the environment in a particular institution, and connect them with the people in it.

It engages with the new students as soon as they come into the institution; regular classes start only after that.

To introduce the incumbents to the institutional policies, processes, practices, culture and values,

To assign the incumbents to their mentor groups .
